2007 CUMC Women's Retreat Updates

 

 

Looking forward to seeing all of you at the retreat this Friday! Here are some updates and additional information for you.

 

 

Check-in starts at 4:00 PM and dinner starts at 6:00 PM. If you will not make it for dinner, please let Jennifer Burnett know and we will make sure to fix a plate for you.

 

 

 

Directions - in case you've already lost the ones you were given on Sunday :)

 

I-70 west towards Hagerstown, then taken I-81 North to the Molly Pitcher Highway exit. Turn north (left) at the end of the ramp onto Route 11. Continue north on Rt.11 through Greencastle. About 2.5 miles north of the second traffic light in Greencastle, look for Mrs. Gibble's Restaurant on the left and Antrim Brethren in Christ Church on the right. Turn right onto Kauffman Road. Go about a half mile through a railroad underpass. Stay right at the Y in the road. After a couple hundred yards, you will see the entrance to Rhodes Grove on the right.

For those who are scrapbooking: please bring a journal, a pen, and scissors.

 

 

For those who are interested in learning to crochet or knit: bring 3 skeins of yarn in the color of your choice (Lion Brand Homespun is recommended), size N-13 (6.5 mm)or size P-15 (10 mm) crochet hook OR size 10.5 (6.5 mm) through 15 (10 mm) knitting needles.

 

 

For those interested in massage therapy: a massage therapist will be with us on Saturday afternoon. Approximate cost is $1 per minute, for a maximum of 20 minutes. Payment should be made in cash at the time of service.
